The Southeast Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing new business, and expanding key customer relationships across the region. This role focuses on stainless steel fabrication and process piping solutions, and requires a strong balance of technical understanding, customer engagement, and commercial execution. The ideal candidate thrives in a field-based environment, builds trust with industrial clients, and collaborates closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilitites- Identify and develop new business opportunities across fabrication solutions, including piping systems, pressure vessels, skids, and structural components.
- Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end – from lead generation and technical clarification to quoting, negotiation, and closing – to achieve revenue growth targets.
- Own and actively manage the assigned territory, including regular on-site visits to chemical plants, refineries, power generation facilities, and other industrial sites.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including operations managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and procurement professionals.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, estimating, and production teams to prepare accurate technical proposals and deliver tailored, competitive solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy and pipeline development.
- Support turnaround projects, emergency repairs, and maintenance events by coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and site requirements while representing the company professionally at trade shows, conferences, and customer events.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 2–5 years of outside technical sales experience in industrial, process, or manufacturing environments (e.g., chemical, refinery, power, or EPC)
- Experience selling fabricated solutions, piping systems, or related industrial products strongly preferred
- Proven ability to develop new business, manage a territory, and close revenue-generating opportunities
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and material requirements (training provided as needed)
- Experience supporting project-based sales, turnarounds, or maintenance-driven work is a plus
- CRM proficiency for tracking visits, quoting, forecasting, and reporting
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Ability to meet safety and onboarding requirements for industrial facilities (TWIC, refinery orientations, OSHA, DISA, etc.)
